Coffee Cantata

A cantata written by Johann Sebastian Bach expressing the emotions of women whose husbands neglected them to drink coffee with the boys.

The German woman solved their dilemma by inventing the Kaffeeklatsch, which became an important social occasion for both men and women, as tea time later became a high-point of English social life. See 'Coffee'; 'Coffee; History'; and under individual types.
