Small, brightly-coloured, clams from the waters of the Mediterranean and Eastern Atlantic around the coast of Portugal. It goes under the name Wedge Shell in Britain, "olive" or "haricot de mer" in France; "tellina" in Italy; and "cadelinha" in Portugal. See 'Wedge Shell'
