Cubeb (Piper Cubeba)

A type of pepper, native to Indonesia, and sometimes called Java pepper. They are sometimes called-for in Arabic recipes, but otherwise little used. Oleo-resin is extracted from them and used as an ingredient in some pickles and commercial sauces.
