Cutty Sark

The most famous surviving tea clipper, which for a time in 1889 held the record for a voyage from Sydney, Australia to Britain - passing the new P & O steamer Britannia on the way (which claimed it was doing 16 knots at the time).

The clipper can be seen at Greenwich, just east of London. See' Tea Clipper'
