Five Spice Powder

A blend of aromatic spices much used in Chinese cooking, and other parts of South East Asia. It is a mixture of cinnamon, cloves, Sichuan peppercorns, fennel seeds and star anise. It keeps well in a sealed jar, if kept in the dark. See 'Garam masala' & 'Char masala'
