Flounder; Witch/Witch Sole (Glyptocephalus cynoglossus)
A flat fish belonging to the Pleuronectidae family (like the plaice, flounder and larger halibut) growing up to 60cm, and inhabiting both sides of the North Atlantic. It resembles the Winter Flounder, but has deep pits on its 'blind' side of its head.
It"s also a thinner fish than the Winter Flounder, but still good fried or poached. See 'Fish'
