Ardrahan

A soft Irish cows" milk cheese, with a "washed-rind"; made from pasteurised milk by Eugene and Mary Burns at Ardrahan, Kanturk in County Cork. It"s best when young, when it has a milky sweet flavour, but with the whiff from the washed rind. For more information see www.ardrahancheese.ie (http://www.ardrahancheese.ie/)     See "Washed-Rind"

If you enjoy cooking take a minute to look at ‘Simon Scrutton Cookery Classes’ on Google – and learn how to make top class bistro-style dishes. Suitable for beginners upwards.
