Fromage blanc

A very low fat French cheese made with drained curds and with a light, fresh taste. It was the basis of sauces in Michel Guérard"s "Cuisine Minceur" - which was a style of cooking allowing gourmands to eat delicious food without putting on weight. "Jockey" and "Bon Blanc" are two proprietary brands. See 'Cuisine Minceur'; 'Fromage frais';

If you enjoy cooking take a minute to look at ‘Simon Scrutton French Cookery Classes’ on Google – and learn how to make top class bistro-style dishes. Suitable for beginners upwards. Small classes.
