A sweet made from crystallised sugar, butter, milk and sometimes flavouring.

The Scottish confection 'tablet' is similar in flavour to fudge, but is made with a higher percentage of sugar, and less fat. It is then cooked to a higher temperature - giving it a more solid texture.

If you enjoy cooking take a minute to look at ‘Simon Scrutton French Cookery Classes’ on Google – and learn how to make top class bistro-style dishes. Suitable for beginners upwards. Small classes.
