Atholl Brose

A Scottish drink/dish based on whisky, mixed with honey and oatmeal. The Duke of Atholl is said to have defeated his enemies, during a rebellion in 1475, by filling up their drinking well with this mixture - so rendering them incapacitated. See 'Brose'
