Hoisin sauce

A thick, sweet and spicy, Southern-Chinese sauce; made from soya beans, sugar, vinegar, spices and garlic. In the West it"s often used to accompany "crispy duck with pancakes". It"s widely available bottled in supermarkets, and if refrigerated, lasts almost indefinitely.
