Horsetail (Aesculus Hippocastanum)

A tall herb that's found wild in Europe and also cultivated. It's one of the richest sources of silica and is used when manufacturing silica supplements.

As such, horsetail can increase calcium absorption, strengthen bones, teeth and hair. Horsetail supplements are also used to treat kidney stones. See 'Alternative Medicine'; 'Silicon'
