An excellent waxy-type, kidney-shaped, new potato variety - especially until the end of May (when they are unsurpassed), after which they seem to lose a little of their flavour. The variety is at it's best boiled with a little fresh mint, but also good in salads and sautéed - in the latter's case, the skin can be left on, as it caramelises well. They aren't suitable for mashing.
