Marfona

A 'floury' 2nd Early potato variety, raised by J.P.G. Konst and Zn at Zwaanshoek (Holland) in 1975. Its tuber are large and white - making it ideal for baking (far superior in flavour to the more often found Cara). They're not so successful when mashed or chips.

If you enjoy cooking take a minute to look at ‘Simon Scrutton French Cookery Classes’ on Google – and learn how to make top class bistro-style dishes. Suitable for beginners upwards. Small classes.
