Kingfish (menticirrhus saxatilis)

An excellent fish found on the western side of the North Atlantic between Cape Cod to Florida. If found at your fishmongers it"s excellent fried, poached or steamed - either filleted or whole.

If you enjoy cooking take a minute to look at ‘Simon Scrutton French Cookery Classes’ on Google – and learn how to make top class bistro-style dishes. Suitable for beginners upwards. Small classes.
