Lavender, Culinary uses

A few lavender flowers add a new dimension to supermarket "Herbes de Provence" - but would added in the normal course of events in Provence. The flowers can be used to make or flavour ice cream, and to make jelly and biscuits.

If you enjoy cooking take a minute to look at ‘Simon Scrutton French Cookery Classes’ on Google – and learn how to make top class bistro-style dishes. Suitable for beginners upwards. Small classes.
