Lewis, Rosa

A friend, and possible mistress, of Auguste Escoffier, when she ran the Cavendish Hotel. The hotel was run as a high-glass den of iniquity and she became known as 'The Duchess of Jermyn Street' - her portrait hangs in the foyer to this day. See 'Escoffier, Auguste'
