Lime (citrus aurantifolia)

A small green citrus fruit, from the lime/linden tree, with a stronger, sharper flavour than lemon. Like the lemon, the lime is rich in vitamins, especially C. The tree is more 'tender' than the lemon.

If you enjoy cooking take a minute to look at ‘Simon Scrutton French Cookery Classes’ on Google – and learn how to make top class bistro-style dishes. Suitable for beginners upwards. Small classes.
