Linseed, Medicinal uses

A traditional cure for constipation is to eat 1-2 tablespoons of whole seeds, which have previously been soaked in water, with plenty of extra water.

A tablespoon of linseed oil and then lying down for half an hour is reputed to help with the elimination of gallstones.
