Lobster; Flat (Scyllarus arctus)

A Dublin Bay Prawn-sized crustacean, only without the claws. It has good meat, but not much of it, so isn"t a popular catch.

If found on your fishmongers slab, treat as prawns, or make a delicious soup.

If you enjoy cooking take a minute to look at ‘Simon Scrutton French Cookery Classes’ on Google – and learn how to make top class bistro-style dishes. Suitable for beginners upwards. Small classes.
