Mizuna (Brassica rapa Var. nipposinica)

A form of brassica (cabbage) developed in Japan. It has a peppery flavour, and can be used in salads or cooked. Most varieties have long pointed straggly leaves. Red-leaved varieties are also grown. See ‘Brassica’
