Mushrooms Poisoning

Always take expert advice when eating mushrooms you have picked. Famous people to have died of mushroom poisoning include Alexander 1 (Zsar of Russia); Charles V (King of France); Pope Clement V11; the Roman emporors Claudius and Tiberius and possibly Alexander the Great (although he might of died of alcohol or lead poisoning). As millions of children know, the royal father of Babar, king of the elephants in the books of Jean de Brunhoff, turned green and died after dining on poisonous mushrooms.
