Northern Kingfish (Menticirrhus saxatilis)

A fish living in the Western Atlantic, growing up to 40cm, and belonging to the Sciaenidae family, that includes Drums, Weakfish and Atlantic Croaker. If your find one on your fishmongers slab they are excellent fried, poached or steamed.
