Old Landed

A term describing Cognac shipped in oak casks to Britain, and matured in bonded warehouses. Another term for brandy of this type is "British Bonded". Some of the greatest tasting Cognacs are of this type, as they are never blended, but from a single vintage. Recently brandy of this type has become rare. See 'Cognac'
