Papaya/Pawpaw/Papain (Carica Papaya)

"Green" papaya isn"t fully ripe, but can be served as a vegetable, hot with butter and garnished with a herb, such as mint - for general cooking methods it should treated as a squash. The fruit is also known as Pawpaw or Tree Melon.
