Bel Paese

A modern, soft, sweet "Italico"-style cheese created by the Galbani family in 1906. It is factory-made in Melzo, Lombardy, and sold wrapped in foil. It has a fat content of 45-50%, and production was modelled on that of the French cheeses Port Salut and Saint-Paulin.
