Bento (box)

Little items of food eaten by the Japanese when at work or travelling. These are transported in Bento box. Items might vary from the simple - say shredded raw cabbage and pasta or seasoned and decorated rice - to the more elaborate - sea-bass sashimi or fried oysters. See also "Japan; food in"
