Live yoghurts have been developed to fulfil this function, but in recent tests some yoghurts purporting to contain live cultures had so little that the panel considered it doubtful that they would be strong enough to reach the human gut and be of any health benefit. Of the brands tested, the following came out well - Multibionta, Healthcrafts, Larkhall, Quest & Yakult.
