Sardines; tinned

Sardines that have been headed and tailed before being canned - with oil or sauce. Most come from Portugal.

Tinned sardines have the added bonus of being processed with their own edible, calcium-rich bones, they are high in iron and vitamin D; bot of which help maintain strong bones and teeth. See 'Sardines'
