Sculpin (Myoxocephalus Scorpius)
A rather bony fish, growing up to about 90cm and living on both sides of the North Atlantic, and belonging the Cottidae family.
If found on your fishmongers slab, smaller fish are good in fish soups, while larger specimens can be filleted and treated as cod. Be careful of the dangerous spines. Sometimes known as "Shorthorn Sculpin" or "Sea Scorpion".
