Blue-Mouth (Helicolenus dactylopterus)

A fish belonging to the Scorpaenidae family, growing up to about 40cm, and inhabiting the waters off the Mediterranean and both sides of the North Atlantic. It"s related to the rascasse (in France is called the "Rascasse du nord"), and is a good substitute in "bouillabaisse" and fish soup. Not worthwhile for anything else. See Bouillabaisse; Rascasse
