Strawberries; To store

Strawberries are best stored in the fridge (where they will keep for two-three days), but should be brought to room temperature aout an hour before serving, to maximise their flavour.

Because of their high water content, strawberries don"t freeze well - although alpines are more successful.

If you enjoy cooking take a minute to look at ‘Simon Scrutton French Cookery Classes’ on Google – and learn how to make top class bistro-style dishes. Suitable for beginners upwards. Small classes.
