Tabasco (Capsicum Frutescens)

A form of hot capsicum named after a town in Southern Mexico, and mostly used for the production of the famous sauce, and for Thai Hot Chili Sauce.

The species probably originated in coastal Peru, but is now mainly cultivated in South East Asia and India.
