A hot drink, made by infusing herbs (or mixtures of fruit and herbs), such as camomile or peppermint. All are caffeine-free.

Here are a few -

Camomile: An aromatic infusion having relaxing properties. Particularly good with a little honey. Drink black.

Honeybush: This has a flavour similar to conventional tea, but with a gentle honey flavour. It's high in antioxidants, so, like real tea, might have heath benefits. Can be drunk black or white.

Peppermint: A perfect diestif. Drink black.

Rooibos: Made from a red bush shrub, which is native to South Africa. It doesn't taste too herby and can be drunk wth milk and sugar.

Rosehip: This aromatic brew usually also contains hibiscus, which adds a deep purple colour. Try it with a little honey.
