Tocotrienols

A group of natural compounds related to vitamin E (tocopherols). They are found mainly in sweetcorn, soybean oil and wheat germ.

They are stronger antioxidants than tocopherols, and have a better effect as anti-tumour and cholesterol-reducing agents - mainly because they have better penetration of the fatty tissues such as the brain and liver.
