Traditional Events; Pancake Racing

Many villages still practice this - perhaps the most famous being Olney, in Buckinghamshire, where records show the tradition reaching back to 1445. Pancakes have to be tossed, while competitors race to the church of St. Peter & St. Paul.

If you enjoy cooking take a minute to look at ‘Simon Scrutton French Cookery Classes’ on Google – and learn how to make top class bistro-style dishes. Suitable for beginners upwards. Small classes.
