Water spinach (Ipomoea Aquatica)

An aquatic plant of the ipomoea family, native to Southern India, but grown in many warm areas - particularly Florida. it"s grown for its edible young shoots and leaves, which can be eaten like spinach. It will grow in Britain, but needs a warm summer to do well.
