Weever (Trachinus Draco)

A small spiny fish of the Trachinidae family, found from the Mediterranean to the southern coast of Norway. Although the flesh has a good flavour, the fish are most useful for soup. It is sometimes known as a dragonfish. Great care has to be taken with the spines, as they can cause septic wounds.
