Wolf Fish

A sea fish of the family Anarhichadadae from the deep waters of the Arctic Ocean and other northern seas - it"s also called catfish; while on the Shetland's 'Stone-biter' - because of its powerful jaws and fearsome teeth. An adult may measure up to 1 metre in length, the flesh has a good flavour, possibly helped by its diet of fruits de mer. See 'Catfish'
