A Chinese snack made from a savoury filling inside a square of paper-thin dough. The name is the Anglised form of two Chinese words meaning 'small dumpling'. They use thin wonton 'wrappers' to enclose a delicious morsel - such as a prawn, scallop or flavoured mince meat. Jiazi are similar, but with thicker wrappers.
