Agriculture; Protected Designation of Origin (PDO)

The closest to French AOC and 'Label Rouge' awards that we have in Britain, and part of the EU system.

A PDO covers the term used to describe foodstuffs which are produced, processed and prepared in a given geographical area using recognised know how.
