A form of stuffed pasta, eaten by Sephardic Jews in the Middle East. They were often mixed with 'reshteh' which are tagliatelli-style ribbons. The two pastas are served with yoghurt.

These pasta types were most likely introduced by Italian Jews after their expulsion from Italy.
