Clary sage, medicinal uses

Clary sage tea, combined with a little cider vinegar can be used as a gargle for sore throats. An essential oil is made from clary sage by distillation of the partially dried flower stems and leaves. As well as being used as a herbal medicine, its used to perfume soaps, and to flavour vermouth and liqueurs.
