Bugle (ajuga reptans)

A hardy evergreen perennial belonging to the labiatae family. It grows wild in Britain, mainly in damp fields and woodlands, up to a height of 1 metre, and has blue flowers from spring to summer, and dark-green oval leaves with a purplish tinge. It's sometimes known as Carpenter's Herb.
