Grigson, Jane

(1928-1990) After Elizabeth David, probably the greatest influence on British cookery of the 20th century. Her books included 'Good Things' (1971), 'English Food' (1974), 'The Mushroom Feast'(1975), 'Jane Grigson's Vegetable Book' (1978), 'Jane Grigson's Fruit Book' (1982). Her books are a must on every enthusiastic cooks shelf - as, as well as recipes, they make excellent bedtime reading.

If you enjoy cooking take a minute to look at ‘Simon Scrutton French Cookery Classes’ on Google – and learn how to make top class bistro-style dishes. Suitable for beginners upwards. Small classes.
