Guitarfish (Rhinobatos Rhinobatos)

A species of fish intermediate between sharks and rays - their shape explaining the name - growing up to 1 metre in length. In the Atlantic they occur between Portugal and South West Africa, and can also be found in the Mediterranean.

They aren't highly regarded on the food front, although varieties found in Australia grow up to 3 metres and make better eating.
