Ice cream sundae

Vanilla ice cream topped with chocolate sauce. Supposedly invented in Two Rivers, Michigan in 1881. It was originally called 'Sunday' as thought to be special enough for that day - and the change in the spelling has been lost in time.

If you enjoy cooking take a minute to look at ‘Simon Scrutton French Cookery Classes’ on Google – and learn how to make top class bistro-style dishes. Suitable for beginners upwards. Small classes.
