Oyster Mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus)
A mushroom, so named, because it resembles an oyster. They grow wild on the trunks of dead or dying deciduous trees, but are now cultivated. They can be treated like field mushrooms, but there flavour doesn't match their appealing looks.
