Sticky Toffee Pudding

This very popular baked pudding, flavoured with dates, was made popular by Francis Coulson, when he was cooking at Sharrow Bay in the Lake District. It is generally served with Toffee Sauce.

Although it's unclear, he is thought to have come across it originally in The Gait Inn at Millington, and improved on what he tasted there. See our 'Recipe section'
