Damson Cheese

Not a dairy product, but a traditional thick preserve/relish emanating from North Yorkshire and Cumbria. It's made with damsons and sugar, and used both as a jam and as a condiment for cold meat and game. It can also be made with plums. See our 'Recipe' section

If you enjoy cooking take a minute to look at ‘Simon Scrutton French Cookery Classes’ on Google – and learn how to make top class bistro-style dishes. Suitable for beginners upwards. Small classes.
